PJ: Because she is still considered to be a presidential candidate in the US and because she remains an enigma to foreign readers, her antics still make news. Sadly, she's not making news due to her brilliance in world affairs but instead due to her strange actions and bizarre comments.
Sarah Palin misspells name of her favourite mountain as 'secret Twitter account' is revealed
It's in her home state, it's America's highest peak and she's even climbed part of it.
But Sarah Palin seemingly cannot spell Mount McKinley.
Only a week after a blog claimed she has a private Facebook account, the same website now says Mrs Palin has a secret Twitter account, too - the misspelt @mckinely777.
The account, called 'Sarah', does not have any tweets and follows just three people - Mrs Palin's official Twitter, the Drudge Report and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
It's an interesting choice in the light of last week's revelations, which alleged she called Mr Gingrich an 'egotistical, narrow-minded machine goon' in an email.
She confesses to being scared of heights, and struggles to climb the bare rock.
She said on the show: 'I love this state like I love my family.'
The latest revelation, like last week's, comes from the manuscript of an as-yet-unpublished memoir by her former aide Frank Bailey. Its contents have been steadily leaked, first in the Alaskan media and now online.
Blog Wonkette used a private email address mistakenly released in the manuscript to track down a Facebook account under the name of 'Sarah Lou', which used that address.
The account is used to 'like' many of Sarah Palin's official Facebook messages, and also to comment on her daughter Bristol's wall.
The website used the same method with Twitter - except on that site, users have to allow themselves to be found using their email address.
When Wonkette requested @mckinely777 to let itself be found in that way, the user agreed just a few days later - giving the website a helping hand, it says.
The blog also points to Mrs Palin's denial after the revelations on her official Facebook site, which mentions Twitter before any allegations were made.
She wrote: 'On a side note, there’s always buzz about fake Sarah Palin Facebook and Twitter accounts.
'Please know that this is my only authentic Facebook account and SarahPalinUSA is my only authentic Twitter account.
Pay no attention to the fake accounts and their fake messages.'
