PJ: Sadly, Fox News is promoting a rather innocuous video as evidence of some sort of evil plot that connects to President Obama. If you watch the video you'll see then president of the Harvard Law Review, Barack Obama introduce Law Professor Bell who was protesting in support of more diversity in the Harvard Law Department. In the clip, you'll see a diverse group of students supporting his actions--these students, while of every ethnic background are mainly white. After that introduction, you'll see the two men hug in greeting as is a relatively common thing to see. Fox is reporting that this particular clip was hidden and only uncovered by the late Andrew Breitbart as damning evidence of Obama's radical connections. What Fox neglects to mention is that this particular video has been public for a long time and was part of a longer story seen on PBS's "Frontline": http://video.pbs.org/video/2207363899. You will find the Obama's introduction in the second segment.
Fox has gone so far as to enlist the help of Sarah "pallin' around with terrorits" Palin to weigh in and turn a mole hill into a mountain. On Hannity* the other night, Fox's Palin said that this proves that Obama wants to take the country back to the time prior to the civil war. (I know it doesn't make sense when you hear her but we can assume that she thinks that President Obama wants to enslave white people. Again, I know it doesn't make sense.) You can watch her appearance here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTOV1sOZ4J8&feature=player_embedded
Wouldn't you think that Mr. Murdoch has enough troubles right now that he doesn't need pandering partisans parading around his network trying insanely to create a controversy where none exists?

Andrew Breitbart's 'explosive Barack Obama exposé' falls flat
Andrew Breitbart’s “explosive” exposé on Barack Obama fell flat on Wednesday night, failing to cause any ripples on the US political circuit.
By Amy Willis
The video, pitted as Mr Obama’s coup de grace and the end of his 2012 re-election bid, promised to expose the president as a “racist radical” who had plotted to seize control of the White House with other “totalitarian freaks” for more than 20 years.
In reality the tape showed a college student campaigning for racial diversity at Harvard law School – not quite the fiery revelations right wing blogger Andrew Breitbart had pledged prior to his death.
A version of the video, leaked by Buzzfeed yesterday, indicated that the footage was not going to give the impact as was expected, instead showing a 29-year-old Barack Obama addressing a peaceful protest.
A young Obama told the crowd: “I remember that the black law students had organised an orientation for the first year students and one of the persons who spoke at the orientation was Professor Bell and I remember him sauntering up to the front and not giving us a lecture but engaging us in a conversation and speaking the truth.”
Professor Derrick Bell has been described as a fundamentalist by some right wing pundits, including Breitbart.
The leaked clip, which failed to rouse significant interest, was dismissed by Breitbart bloggers as a redacted version, with the key parts edited out.
The footage in its entirety was shown on Hannity last night, with the much-hyped missing part, which turned out to be a five-second segment where Barack Obama was seen embracing the law professor after the speech.
The programme also showed clips of law professor Charles Ogletree addressing a crowd and saying that he had hidden the video during Barack Obama's 2008 presidential election campaign.
"I hid this during the 2008 campaign," Mr Ogletree said. "I don't care if they find it now."
Conservative impresario Breitbart, 43, described once in a Time Magazine interview as a Marxist, collapsed and died at his home last Thursday.
The week before he died, he told an audience at a CPAC meeting. "I've got videos by the way, this election we're going to vet [Barack Obama] to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008, the videos are going to come out."
