UK: Palin closes CPAC by citing the 'cesspool' of washington and throwing red meat to the crowd--Update

PJ: Using a teleprompter (which she often mocks Obama for using), Sarah Palin gave a rousing anti-Washington speech to the conservative crowd at CPAC. Palin has joined the ranks of Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh as one of the best in inspiring the far right through bitingly angry demagogic rhetoric.

Update: A conservative's take on how Palin fed CPAC supporters: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/02/11/palin-on-obama-he-mucked-up.html

Look who's back! Sarah Palin heckled by protesters during speech... but supportive crowd silences them in seconds

Sarah Palin was heckled by a mob of protesters during her speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday - but silenced them seconds later as the crowd chanted 'USA! USA!'

The one-time Republican vice presidential candidate joined in the chant as the crowd clamored to its feet in support - while the protesters were escorted out the room by security.

When they had left the room, fired-up Palin said: 'You just won. You see how easy that is?'

'He says he has a jobs plan to Win the Future. WTF, I know,' Palin said in reference to the slang saying - but spelling out W-T-F.

Palin also zoned in on the way Obama has dealt with economic struggles.

She said the economy 'is not a failure of the American people. It is the failure of leadership'.

There was also criticism for other national politicians, who she said had planned on tackling the 'cesspool' of government.

'It's not a cesspool, more like a hot tub,' she said.

'It is time that we drain the Jacuzzi, and we throw the bums out with the bathwater,' she added, to laughs from the crowd.
