Sarah Palin lauds Ronald Reagan as 100th birthday festivities begin


"But it is his political legacy that is the biggest attraction for a series of prominent Republicans jockeying for position before the party's 2012 nomination process.

"And although two of Mr Reagan's children have insisted that Mrs Palin is no ideological heir to their father, the former Alaska governor made clear on Friday evening that she believed she could happily step into the political equivalent of his famous cowboy boots."
