Palin snubbed as convention strategists deem her too risky

Mr Romney's aides say letting Ms Palin speak would be too risky because they cannot control her message. Ms Palin was widely seen as testing the waters last year over whether to launch her own White House bid. Those close to her said she opted out because she was making too much money as a television pundit and author - an estimated $US12 million a year.
